Is Anyone Making Money with Facebook?

I'm curious. With all of the changes Facebook makes all the time, is anyone making any money with them anymore? Or are people just making money telling other people how to make money with Facebook? The fan page craze seems to be over since changes were made and that was how people were supposedly making tons of dough. Any input on this is appreciated!

I haven't looked into any Facebook methods, but Facebook makes up a decent % of my overall site traffic and I will often link my users to a landing page with affiliate ads etc - so yes, I am making money through FB and long may it continue!

 

yup friend a lot of methods are available for making money on facebook. you can show ads, you can create fan page and sell them, even you can start affiliate marketing here too.

 

Telling people how to make money is a good method on its own as long as your method actually works, in which case you can use your own method too

I don't think... Even the ads of FB are worst to try.. I have just wasted my money over them

if you have a massive fan page you can expect to bank big

then theres facebook PPC, which i think is one of the best PPC platforms a marketer can use as it can be highly targeted via ppls interests!

There are some tricks that work and let you earn money. Some of them are white hat, where the others are black hat. Among white hat methods, there are contests, giveaways, special coupons, discounts, etc. You can run them on Facebook directly, or on your site (ex, add a link which says "invite friends to get 10%", etc).
Black hat methods can give you more quantitative rather than qualitative results. Anyways, you can create like gates or any other similar and program them to do hidden actions (display pages, generate submissions, etc).

The only method I see that's really doable is a successful fan page, with witty comments until it's mass followed. Then hit it with some CPA stuff. You could have as may as 500k people getting your messages in one go.

Well, I would have to see it to believe it. But still with Facebook integrated into everything I would reckon that there is money to be made if you know the tricks and trips.
