I havent headed into parking domains, but alwyas thought this could nice residual income. MAy have to start cehcking in to it.
You really should as the CTR% are among the highest I have seen out of quite a few different revenue earnings methods.. easy money doing nothing lol....
Hi, On another forum I belong to someone has been promoting WhyPark. Has anyone here had any experience or luck with them?
parking is a waste unless you have a really, really good 1 or 2 word keyword URL. Otherwise, who is ever going to type it in to see what's there?
I would have to disagree...... I flipped my entire proxy network over to parking and I make more profits now than ever. In addition there are quite a few millionaire domainers running around and a ton of others making over 6 figures a year doing virtually nothing..... It truly is a make money while you sleep business..... You can also use Google trends to pick up exploding keywords... buy the domain to match and you have traffic coming shortly. Case in point www.flipcameras.com Creation date: 07 Nov 2007 Revenue $42.98 Clicks 163 Impressions 340 US impressions 338 EPC $0.26 EPM $126.41 CTR% 47.94% <---not much does better... Certainly not Adsense or YPN. So looking at it from the business aspect of profitability. $43.00 (rounded up) $10.00 domain name ---------------------------- $33.00 pure profit $10.00 / $33.00 = 70% profit margin Can't beat those numbers......and all done in less than a month.... Peace!
nice tip.... i too recieve more traffic and revenue from adult domain parking than regular domains.....Sex sells they say however, in totality Parking Sucks
Sem: wow, that's pretty interesting I have a few industry-related keyword URLs and they get nothing, not even one hit a week. Then again, I dont have any backlinks for them, or anything else.
Same here. Pretty new to the internet business, but this seems like an interesting (i.e. easy) route to take.
Unless you have really good domains you wont make money on Parking sites. Firts because you dont get indexed because you dont have content. and second because nobody stays too long on parking sites. and if you have a good domain its kinda stupid to keep it on parking
it is upto your domains how much traffic your domain portfolio get? does that traffic are direct or artificial? Which provider you choose for this task? It is a combination of many factors, but you can't make $$ overnight with the domain parking
jesus, this is an old freakin post. It's funny to see my old comment just a few posts above. Since then, I've given parking a chance, and have learned a lot more in the past year.
Yeah, I recommend downloading a free adsense-ready Wordpress theme, installing wordpress (one click on dreamhost), redirect the feed through feedburner (be sure to use Pingshot) stick a few related articles up from article directories, put up Google ads, find some related affiliate products (Clickbank is a good place to start), then submit it to directories and social sites or pay someone else to do it (it's really cheap). Repeat the process on the next site. Just keep going one domain after the next. You'll get the hang of it and be able to do a new domain every day. Don't look back for at least a month. Then spend time optimizing and putting unique content on the sites that are making the most money. Keep the sites that don't make much money as long as they cover the cost of the domain fee, you can use them to link to your more profitable sites.
