This is how I would do it:

Firstly, let's say I was earning 5000 a month from Adsense. I would save 10% and put itn the bank. 40% would be invested in some low risk investment and the remaining 50% would be spent on bills and building of new sites to ensure renewable revenue.

I wouldn't say I'm living off it, but it pays for all my online activity. I get roughly $400 a month in total, from 5-6 sites.

As a family man, there is no way I could rely solely on AdSense as my income.

Even if I was getting making $5,000 a month, I'd still invest or save whatever was left over at the end of the month.

Affiliate programs make a lot of money ....... do your research and stop crying after adsense alone.

If you really want to do well financially, then I'd definitely use both Adsense and some affiliate programs to make sure you're maximizing potential revenue. I'm just now getting into the affiliate game, so it's still a learning process for me, too. The key is to always think of ways to expand your current sites and never get complacent. Sow now, reap later.

Maybe you can sign up several CPM programs and i am sure you can get something as a return. CPM = Cost per thousand impressions. Those company pay per 1000 impressions.

Accounts are not randomly banned (I may have heard about 1 or 2 people being unfairly banned but there accounts were reinstated). There is always a reason for banning

Yes, I know but I meant randomly in the sense as we don't know when its going to get banned. I've heard of someone clicking their own ad once and months later getting banned.

Since the medium wage in my country is about 300$ and i make 180$ with my part-time job, making a living only from adsense wouldn`t be impossible. I`d be satisfied with 300$/month from adsense if i make them couple of months from now.

Guess it really depends in what country you`re living in when you ask that question :)

I have a site that sells advertising directly to the end user.
we can customise content more, do reviews of products and charge more because of it.
one site making 15,000 euro a year.

Are there any affiliate programs that pay per click instead of paying only if someone orders the product following the link?

Also, are affiliate links allowed on pages with Adsense ads?

The right question is "Is anyone making a living on Just website income?" and the answer is yes.

You can choose which will be the advertiser program you use. And a lot of people use adsense.

Make a website for the visitors and not a website for adsense

No, that would just be a normal PPC advertiser.

Any links are allowed on pages with AdSense, as long as they're not contextually, automatically generated.
