Is ANYONE happy with YPN?

I and many others on this forum are not pleased with YPN and have been very disappointed by the program, particularly with it's inability to target ads to page/site content. There are many posts here that reflect this attitude, but complainers naturally post more frequently than those who are happy.

So, let's hear from ANYONE who is happy with the YPN program -- anyone who has been using it for more than a couple of weeks and has also used other programs to compare.

Well I've used YPN for about 9 months and I also have a lot of experience with Adsense and the only reason I use YPN over Adsense is simply because YPN pays me a lot more than Adsense does.

I've been with YPN since December of 2005, and I'm still happy to do business with them. Complainers should keep in mind:

    • YPN is still in BETA

    • Contextual advertising programs are not meant to be a publishers primary source of income. To rely on any contextual advertising program as a primary or sole source of income is to invite disappointment.

    As always, IMO.

To be happy with YPN requires you to have the possibility to participate...As far as I know it is not opened to most international publishers yet...

I suspect your happiness with yahoo does not come from the sites in your sig.

For me a year ago YPN was great. Not now.

YPN should start paying for every click. For now they have a filtering system that don't even count all clicks from US. I suspect they count only 10-20% of all clicks.

The very fact YPN is in beta still invites critique. A company with as many resources as they have and they can't get out of BETA (not alpha or code cycle, but BETA) shows that the product is severely lacking.

If they don't get out of BETA soon the entire YPN program is in jeopardy.

Yahoo is dying as the latest earnings reports show.

They need to do something soon or face extinction.

I agreee, What Yahoo doesn't realize is that if they actually inform us and get feedback from us, Not the Generic Surveys they send out but actual feedback, We could and would help them out.

I for one have had great success with Yahoo up till this month, I am hoping it is a anamoly. But there are people who have been with Yahoo YPN for a while and are gettig the short shift as well, I.e Surfer Dude and others.

You don't shoot off the hand that feeds you. Bad pub no matter what, gets heard more then good pub, or this thread would not have been written.

I have learned more about ads etc from the good people here then YPN, ADSENSE etc..

Maybe we should start our own damn company..
    ;-)

YPN blows the big chunks, but what the hey, use it or lose it.
