Is Anyone Else Having Problems With Hostgator?

    Right now I can't access anything that is related to my domain that is hosted at hostgator. Including my domain, mailman, cpanel and hostgator itself!!!!!

    that's the problem. www.hostgator.com is coming up 'This page cannot be displayed', and I'm getting the same for cpanel, mailman, my own web site that is hosted by hostgator. The whole shooting match -gone!

    Same problem for me. I have 2 sites with hostgator. Both were down for last 10 hours at least. So is the Hostgator home page, support, live chat, forum etc. Can't get in touch with HG. Extremely troubling. I can't believe this is happening to a hosting company, much less one that's been around a few years..

    But is loading through a proxy!

    I am able to access my sites and HostGator support from another ISP. Went on live chat with support and this is how it went:

    Welcome to HostGator Live Chat! You are now chatting with 'Ricardo'
    Ricardo: Welcome to HostGator Live Chat, how may I assist you?
    Yong: I have 2 sites and for the last 12 hours they can't be viewed online. Even HG home page is down. I am now using another ISP and it seems ok. What is going on?
    Ricardo: Our datacenter is having routing issues that is affecting a few areas and a few ISP. We are currently working to resolve this.
    Yong: Any indication when is this going to be rectified?
    Ricardo: I'm afraid we don't currently have an ETA on that.
    Yong: Am I going to be compensated for this prolonged downtime? This is extremely troubling for me to have it down without any sign of being sorted out.
    Ricardo: You would need to e-mail sales@hostgator.com about that.
