Is anyone else addicted?

I am scrolling about 30 domains through my mind as I read this and It's getting harder to keep away from GoDaddy Recently bought my first LLLL.com domain as a result of reading another forum thread on DP, eh. Have developed it already but can't help looking at my notes regarding another 50+ domains that I plan to by and develop / sell some day. Oh, is this addiction that you're calling? Then I'm in

 

It is hard to resist buying a high quality domain that you think might go up in value. I think it brings out the gambler and speculator in all of us.

 

Any development plans for the FACEPORN.COM one? lol

I went nuts too. I spent lots on 4 letter domains but I've slowed down (no more money) and I've also learned how to make smarter decisions.

Whatever you do DON'T go on impulse.

Ask yourself:

1) Can I honestly find 10 people who would be willing to buy this domain (if you are reggin it to resell)?

2) Do I have a plan for this domain?

3) Never Ever ever register domains at night while your tired. It seems like a wise choise at the time, but when you wake (sobor) up you'll realize your mistake.

so SLOW DOWN. I got over it and so can you.

If you look at my iTrader rating you will see I only bought it last week.

I am not really looking to sell it. I am going to sit on it until June and then develop it hardcore stylee. (Not hardcore porn) , just develop it ALOT.

I wouldnt entertain anything under 100$ though anyway, but selling is the last thing on my mind.

Come on guys post some of your domains. I want to see some!

I was AMAZED when I saw it was unregistered. Me and my friends use the term pure banter like 50 times a day. Maybe it was just a term we coined but Im sure I have seen other people say things like 'ha, thats pure banter'.

are you folks rich? seems buying domains is a waste of money, unless you resell for a profit.

buying a domain with some income is OK

but if you have the money go ahead have fun

Buying a domain and not using it/reselling is IMO silly.

Iv bought many many domains, which I BELIEVE are going to be worth something in the future.

Take one domain I recently purchased, from 1991, for $40! Now that is something.

 

I usually registered a domain and then I became not like it anymore..
Just wasting my hard earn money...

TotalHD.ca - totalHD is the new disc format put out by warner to end the dvd wars.

ssddrives.ca - ssd drives are the way of the future my friend. sandisk produced one for a notebook laptop. still expensive but it will drop.
