What would you expect to pay for SEO work? Also do you know what keywords you're looking for or do you need keyword research? Not to take this too far off topic: I find that a lot of people are confused about pricing for web design services and seo services. You can find cheap services but typically you're not going to get the results a business can give you. You get what you pay for in all honesty. But I am curious as to what you would expect to pay for SEO... and how would you pay... monthly, by project, for results, etc...?
I agree with adam. SEO services is a very large umbrella. you can mean anything from keyword analysis, to on page optimization, to link building, to pay per click management. I often provide SEO consultation services, which can be quite affordable, but I don't do most of the work myself. Why, you might ask? Because in order to do EVERYTHING for you, I'd need to... - Know your business well enough to be able to choose key prhases for you that will lead you to success - Know your software platform well enough to be able to make major structural changes to better optimize each page - Be able to write very detailed content regarding your products or services - Have the 100's of hours available that it would require to develop a respectable amount of quality backlinks. Good SEO firms that handle ALL of this charge thousands of dollars per month. Good consultants provide the knowledge of how to do all of this for a fraction of the cost. What is it exactly that you need?
Your best bet is to check the services forum where you will find many SEO experts looking for work of this sort. Good luck.

all depends on whats your idea of "reasonable price." there are lot of seo people around the forum and everyone has different pricing. all depends on whom are you talking to. when it comes down to the result, what you get is what you pay for. my sugestion would be to get yourself a little more familiar with the SEO world and figure out what is that you exactly need. then find someone reliable who can offer those services. if you outsource the entire SEO project which will start from researching keyword to onpage optimization to link buiulding, then you are expected to pay more. but if you can do the required research yourself, then you can get things done at a fraction of the cost.
just be careful who you give money to in this game, try and find someonw who il do half on completion
SEO is an Ocean. You should spend money for your work. There are lots of SEO's around telling themselves as expert and after paying them you don't find any changes in your website. So better choose by knowing their previous experienced work.
