Comedy is accusing someone of using a straw man in the very post where you use one yourself. I never said you weren't British, only that I suspected that you weren't of English descent. I only made the comment in passing to give you an out for the Oral hygiene comment(and the fact you seem to take the plight of the Palestinians very personally).

I have no doubt that there are many people in the U.K. and abroad, not of Palestinian descent, who don't "side" with Israel. I suspect, however, the number of those who "side" with Palestine are in the single digits as a percent of the whole. Feel free to straighten me out on your genealogy if I am wrong, though please leave out the dental issues.

You'd be better off to take a page from Stox's book and do the following:
1) Tell me how you schooled me.
2) Declare yourself the winner of whatever it is you were debating.
3) Accuse me of adding nothing to the conversation.
4) Fit the word "facile" into your post somewhere.

Sticking with that simple formula has upside for you AND for me. You will be able to walk away from the conversation with a feeling of victory(assuming you are under age 20) and I will be able to shorten my responses to Oooga Boooga or Shazaaam. Its a win win.

Good! You used a Stox argumentative technique by refuting an assertion I made with unrelated evidence. I stated I suspected the percent of people worldwide who "Side" with Palestine fall into the single digits as a percent. You post two article links to the same survey(if you post 10 does that count as 10 surveys?) that show the people polled feel the USA, Israel, and Iran have the most negative influence on the world. The poll was not about the Palestinian conflict and Palestine was not an option. You might as well have posted a poll that compares Donald Duck's popularity as opposed to Mickey Mouse.
