    Yes i do make more than $500/week.
    Currently i'm earning constantly $200/day from scalping the forex market for only about 1 hour/day
    Its my full time job now.
    And the rest on the time is spend at the charity work and the time doing the thing i want

    The $500 per week for only a few hours of work that some of you have mentioned is pretty impressive. I still wonder where some of this comes from though. Products, services, ads, affiliates or a combination maybe. I noticed one mentioned a hosting company. This would obviously be profitable once you build it up, but not really something most casual internet users and seekers would be capable of understanding. Guess one just needs to find their niche or market.

    Internet marketing can make you a millionaire. But it depends on how you do it. Normally to hit it real big you need to have your own product, and build up massive lists. Don't forget, networking is a huge part of making big bucks. I think it's normally overlooked.

    I think the point of the OP is that there are a lot of claims from people posted on the internet (especially here on DP) where they claim to be making hundreds of dollars a week or more from their internet interests and in fact it's not true. I can't remember how many posts I've seen from people right here asking for advice or help on starting their "get rich quick from the internet" site or blog. If you have to ask for advice and you're not rich yet, don't start a site telling others how to get rich!

    It's like PT Barnum said: there's a sucker born every minute. And with birth rates only going up, it's more like a sucker born every ten seconds.

    Assuming you aren't being tied down to the responsibilities and time constraints of a conventional full-time day job, making $500 a week is freakin' easy. I've made more than that in a week along with having to carry out my regular job. What did you want to know?

    there is a lot of people making money from this but no one tell you that it is HARD WORK to get there.

    if you are willing to learn then just start on because it will take a while to get 500 usd / week from this.

    the recipe is simple!

    1. buy a website with content and good name; do not invest more than 300 usd; or you can start with a blog (free);

    2. try to promote it; link-exchange is the first step but dont`t forget to include in the directory; there are a lot of them free;

    3. keep the site daily updated cause the good content is very appreciate;

    4. put Adsense into your website and learn how to grow your business

    that`s all :))

    Think of it like this:

    If you were to open a retail store and got 1 sale p/day you'd most likely go out of business.

    However, if you made a product and sold it for the stereotypical $97 and got 1 sale p/day you'd be making $679 p/week. Even if you had a horrid conversion rate of 0.5% you'd only have to drive 200 people p/day to the page to make a decent amount of coin.

    Stop thinking of money as this scarce resource. Money doesn't disappear, it's just floating around in the economy, you just have to grab it and make it yours.

    Follow your passion, believe you can do it, continually educate yourself in the areas of marketing, sales etc and $500 a week is a piece of cake.

    I was struggling to consistently make $500 a week, then I started building my lists and havn't looked back since. You need to stay focused and set goals, find out what works for you and then put more effort into that. You must have a positive atitude otherwise you can self sabotage your efforts.

    I also bet you at least half or more of the claims just in this section are false, or just not true...I make x amount of $$ per week...I have been trying to market for years, actively also, but never got any lucky breaks in life like all the claims I have been seeing online...although I have long since gave up, i have spent many $1,000's of $$ over the years on advertising, schemes, producs/services, and just to go no-where...so dont sit it there and say its all about attitute...my heart and money was in it for years, and I never made much at all, and when i was active in affilaite marketing, I lost a lot of money using google advertising...makes you wonder who the real billionaires are, its not google advertisers, its google... I still have marketing in my blood, but I am afraid if i start again, I will just loose more money...so if you are going to say it takes heart, attitude, and it takes money to make money, thats not always true. I make $1,000/mo at my real job, and years later, I am still at the bottom of the money chain....

    One of the best example is google and Paypal. Both of these companies earn millions a month.

    Shame you have this experience. It must be the country where you live and the ways you pursue money online (I don't know of any Western countries you would make $1000 with any job, but I don't know in which country you are).

    There are a lot of facets to making money online; technical (sometimes), SEO (most of the times), list building (always), copy writing, graphical work, blogging, link building, etc.

    And then ; some kind of idea or product which makes sense to market. You will notice that most list building/seo/whatever guides (paid or free) are based on you selling a sellable, attractive product or service. So you must have that at least. It is very well possible to (re)sell other people their product, like, for instance, Clickbank stuff, but that is much more difficult than selling something you made/created and really love. After you sold one of your products you will have a list and reputation to sell products made by others (much) easier.

    So while I am not sure what you tried, $500/week is really not difficult to get and maintain.

    Spot on. One of the easiest ways to make money online right from the get-go is to offer a service or product of some sort, and building a rolodex of clients that you can hit up in the future for more business.

    All you need is 1 client requesting a lot of business in order to make that $500 a week. Hell, I was lucky enough to meet a client here on DP that can pay me $500 a month for something that's virtually autopilot. It's not always what you know, but who you know.

    So, cliffs:

    * Create/Offer Product X
    * Promote Product X
    * Get customers
    * Periodically e-mail / message current customers about product X, and your upcoming product Y
    * Profit

    I know what you mean. I get offers all the time and they all want money upfront, so that tells me they are no good to begin with.
    I'd like to know the same thing you are asking. It seems like there has to be real money out there for net services.

    Thats the weirdest thing anyone has ever said. All serious companies ask money upfront. Ofcourse! That is the law, the law further states that someone can cancel the product within 7 days without having to pay. Most companies however offer a full 30 days money back guarantee.
    Your statement is a bit spammy.
