Is anybody familiar with HostGators Site Builder?

I thought I would use it for some real estate sites that I need to build, but so far it looks like it does not have any of the features (IDX link, place for featured homes, forms, lead capture) that I need for a real estate site. I was thinking of finding a template that I could use over and over again, but honestly I have no experience with templates. I have steadynich which is great to quickly build sites for cash parking, but of course this would not work for my real estate sites. If I had a probram like steadyniche that built real estate sites instead of cash parking sites.....now that would be great! Does anyone here build that?

    Thanks, LLLT

I have had experience with a few site builders out there such as Godaddy's. I was just playing around with it and it doesn't have what you need to make a successful website. These used to be valuable back in the day when you had to manually code everything but now with CMS's such as Wordpress and Joomla you are better off just going with one of those.

Personally I think its never worth paying for, you'll get so much more support and awesome plugins with community driven CMS's like drupal and wordpress.

I use Wordpress for all of my sites. It's ridiculously easy to customize with things like opt-in forms, contact forms, etc. :)

I haven't used them, but I use Host Gator to host all of my sites and their customer support is really, really good.

well, i don't really use sitebuilder with my hosting too.. they are quite nice, but eventually, they are all template based, so i dont' think it's so good anyway.

i am also using wordpress as my site too.. i think wordpress is the way to go.

When you say you use wordpress...do you mean the one that has wordpress as part of your URL?
