Does Google treat them in the same way?

i m not sure if google treat them in a different way, but i believe that the visitors surely treat them different!!

Besides, if we accept that google loves natural linking, we can conclude that a blog post has an advantage (i guess that it looks much more natural to have a link in the content of a post article than in the footer or a specific part of your site).

Oups.. maybe i didn't understand the question.. if the question is for example whether a link in a footer of a website is treated in the same way as a link in the footer of a blog, i believe that the answer is yes

All that matters is the context and if it's a nofollow link. If the link is in the middle of good content relating to your site, you're golden. In general, blog links are fine. Most blogs though use nofollow for comments so those tend to be less valuable.

blogs tend to have more outbound links than a "normal" site; so the value of the link is less on that basis. Given equal outbounds and inbounds on a blog or a normal site, I doubt google would treat them differently.

I think blogs tend to get spidered and indexed faster, so in that sense they might have a slight advantage, but it depends on if the blog is seen as an authority site, etc. Otherwise I think links are treated the same, no matter where they are from.

Yah, there's no difference between links from blog and links from site. It would only depends on what kind of blog or site are you linking to. If the blog is related to your site it can help you with quality links.

Blog links (not comment links) are in no way inferior to normal website links(if html is what u mean).

But the links from comments(with no follow tags) are of course no good.

Like lorien said - another factor is the content and the quality of the blog/site that will determine the weightage of the link.

A major advantage of blogs is the ease of having your link surrounded by keyword rich text. Other web sites offer this too, but blogs are the easiest.

No differences, blogs are also considered as a website, so getting links from blogs and from websites does not matter. :)
