We can say orkut is a competitor for facebook. like wise which site do you think as competitor for twitter? Why google consider its real time update only from twitter and facebook. Are other sites are sleeping? Please share your view here.
Well, Orkut isn't all that big, so how much of a competitor is it for Facebook? Twitter and Facebook are the main competitors.
I think twitter no have any competitor. Because twitter used different platform for user. But Facebook and orkut compete each other. Facebook and orkut used mostly same services.
Most of the marketers make aware of customers about their services in Twitter. Just because that twitter has unlimited no. of users.
But i think facebook is the competitor of Twitter... They both are competitor of each other not with orkut

I dont really think that there is a competitor of twitter because maximum people are using Twitter and getting relevant business through it. I am really looking for better updates that are really very essential in twitter.
Twitter is stand alone social site, still now no competitor. But may be they will be a competitor for facebook in future.
