Is analytics causing my site to load really slow?

My site usually loads pretty fast. Today, when I try to go there, it is taking a extremely long time to load. When you look at the bottom left of the browser, it seems it is getting stuck on "Transferring data from www.google-analytics.com.

Could this be the cause of the site not loading fast? The site is the bluetooth one in sig. Anyone else seeing this?

Site is not loading for me because it is stuck on assoc-amazon.com...

But yeah, everything that needs to be loaded on your websites can cause delays, including google's analytics when they are not that fast, which happens occasionally......

i removed some amazon code and now the site is working fine. It's just odd that all of a sudden, it would cause problems for the site as it was on there for a few months.

i know it might have been resolved to your amazon. but make sure your tracking code is as low on the page as possible.

All the tracking systems needs a few milliseconds to load even if you are not using any one then the server hosting provider in most cases assign a tracking script to all the shared websites by normal, so no need to worry about the loading time the tracking system is going to take.
