Is an adjustment needed?

Hi...I am a brand newbie to blogs. My experience is with small niche content sites. When I set up a small content site, I do 2 main things:
1) I submit articles daily to ezinearticles and using Article Post Robot
2) I submit to the directories using LazySEO.com

Aside from the obvious blog posts and pinging. Can I still write articles and can I submit to the same directories as i was before? Even somewhere like Yahoo, do they accept blogs in their directory?

I have trouble understanding how I should adjust my marketing campaign for a brand new blog.

Please help!

 

An informative blog post is basically an article so you could continue on like you were before.

 

Hi...thanks...but aside from my actual blog posts...I meant the aspect of marketing the entire blog. so the article will be different than the blog posts, but still relevant, and what about the directory submissions through LazySEO.com..do those type of directories accept blogs?

 

Linking to your blog with the article would work. As for lazyseo I have never used it so I have no idea what kind of directories they submit too.

 

they are just regular directories like DMOZ and Yahoo and Wow Directory...basically I'm wondering if directories like these accept blogs?
