I have a client who is interested in starting an ecommerce store. His business provides audio/video services and is now getting into selling audio gear like wireless mics, etc. My web development firm usually designs ecommerce sites using the Magento platform. This is not a viable solution this time as it is too expensive. My client is also interested in getting traffic right away. They have a great domain name for the store. Given the items they will be selling / Amazon's traffic, etc. Is an Amazon store the right choice for them? If Amazon seems like a good choice, what is it like to work within the Amazon constraints? What are the pain points? I have a team of designers/developers. Approximately how long would it take to get a store that sells 5-10 products up and running? They want it to look similar to their other service site. Thanks in advance!
Hi, listen, i can not really help you with the amazon query unfortunately but i am running a zen cart site at the moment and was wondering what magento was like, how good for seo was it? Is it really server hungry? Is it a major pain moving from zen to magento? Any tips appericiated.
