Is Amazon Simple Storage and Data Transfer really worth it?

    Hello guys..
    Well I just began to use this service and discovered many things.
    First of all, Im using Wordpress and W3 Total Cache plugin (which contains a great feature for using amazon services).

    My surprise is to discover a total amount of :

    Amazon Simple Storage Service

    $12.21
    ​
    AWS Data Transfer (excluding Amazon CloudFront)
    $21.63​



    $0.120 per GB - up to 10 TB / month data transfer out 179.252 GB
    21.51​



    I was kind of dissapointed with the prices, thought Amazon was cheaper than that.
    Really, 180 GB of Bandwidth is cheaper in many VPS services around the world.
    The good thing here is that I will never see again a 500 Internal Error message.

    But, whats your point of view?

    I only used amazon hosting services for their DDoS protection and I'm happy about it.
