Hello Friends. Can anybody suggest to find the no. of competing pages for the particular keyword is allintitle:"keyword” is the right process or just keyword in quote "keyword".Since the no. of competing pages is coming very few wid allintitle than just wid keywords in quote.

So to target those keywords and make website around them would be a wise decision.Kindly suggest.

Yes. I would suggest creating a blog about a general topic, then finding 50-100 keywords the get high monthly searches but have less than 100 pages optimized for them.

I use the allintitle:"keyword" search when looking for true competition because it's a better way to see how many people are actually targeting that keyword.

I don't like the "keyword" search that everyone tries to tell people to do. Just because there are under 30k competing pages or whatever the parameters are that people set doesn't mean that the first page will be easy to rank on.

I look for under 2k competing pages with the allintitle:"keyword" search and then I go and analyze the first page to see how strong the first few results are.
