Is alexa traffic ranking report reliable ?

Hello every one,

It would be great if any one kindly let me know whether alexa traffic ranking report reliable? Because when i am including my web site name in get traffic results it shows my traffic are coming from Philippines. But truly speaking i am not concentrating on Philippines. As we are concentrating at USA and UK.

Can any one please tell me how to increase the reach in USA and UK

Advertise in USA website and forums....never rely on Alexa..

No because they tells you about traffic visited via their tools and browser which is not the total amount of you receives . So most of webmasters don't care about it .

 

Then should i depend on google analytics rather than alexa?

 

If you really want to increase your traffic ...... just post in relevant press sites and forums....also try to link with high PR websites for better placements....

Regarding Alexa ranking ....never rely on it as its never been stable .....
Lately, it was published in a news that alexa has started to incorporate other websites views using other tools for its traffic checking....but still it is and probably will never be equal to google analytics ......

Alexa is for users who dont have much knowledge on SEO....
so my friend...if you dont want to know your websites correct facts, continue using alexa....

I more trust Anaytic compare to Alexa
Alexa stat is not accurate compare to Anaytic

 

Although the traffic that comes from Alexa is not wholly universal, you have to admit it does look sexy if you can trick the system

 

i would`nt even bother with Alexa it is totally unreliable.

i have one website with a low Alexa rating and another that receives 10 times the traffic but yet its Alexa is higher.

 

that just means someone or several people in the philippenes have the toolbar installed that visit your site regularly. Alexa is easily "gamed" for that reason-

Well, even so, some website still use Alexa for their rating system, like sponsoredreviews.com or TLA.

 

Alexa is useless and just a decoration for your site..

 

they aren't reliable because they are only considering the ones that are using their tool bar.

 

they use data from sites that are suing their tool bar, but most relevant sites uses their toolbar, therefore...
I would say they are about the best you can get now...
