Is Alexa Ranking Important ?

Use google web trends for websites. That will give me a much much more accurate picture of things

 

THe problem with Google web trends is that it does not list all websites for all countries.

 

It is rather not so important, more likely simply one more tool for an estimation of the site...

 

i guess that it is not that important, the information in alexa shows the combined pageviews and visitors of your site which is not that great for a basis!

Alexa frequently produce wrong figures.

 

Not important for traffic. But Alexa ranking is important if you try to sell adspace or your website even.

Actually pr and alexa rank of sites both are important, but Alexa tells something more than pr.

 

it depends, i mean for advertisers sometimes it is quite important but actually it is quite insignificant because alexa rankings are based upon the visits by users who have alexa toolbar installed on their browsers and that no. I am sure is not very big
