Ok, here we go. This is what I read on xchanger.org, one of Alertpay's official ecurrency exchanger:

"Despite AlertPay's recent efforts to ensure their ability to continue to support the e-currency industry , they regret to inform us that they will no longer be able to support the e-currency exchange business.

xChanger.org will finish it's cooperation with AlertPay on April 30,2012. We will no longer be able to exchange funds to or from AlertPay payment system from 30th April on. Shall you require an exchange in or out of AlertPay, you've only got a few days at your disposal to do so."

So is Alertpay going to STOP/NOT SUPPORT all ecurrency exchanges to and from Alertpay? If so, why would they do it with their

    1. Check withdrawals not being supported for more than a year now
    2. Credit card withdrawals and processing not being supported for more than a year now
    3. Local bank transfers not supported for most countries.
    4. I think AP even has problems for bank transfers to US

So, with Alertpay having so many problems, why would they completely restrict their users by not allowing ecurrency exchanges to and from alertpay??

Is Alertpay on the path of doom?? Alertpay customers and representatives, feel free to comment!!

No way!! I saw the notification on their site Xchanger.org which had the above mentioned message. Now they have removed that notification, the reason I am told is that Alertpay's decision to BAN / NOT SUPPORT ecurrency exchanges, official or otherwise, has been postponed !!

You can take it or leave it, Alertpay is going to ban all exchanges to and from Alertpay. They have just postponed from 30 April 2012 to a later date. How much later? Only Alertpay knows.

It hasn't been there on xchanger.org, go look for yourself. If you saw the news there, you should have taken a screenshot and shown us here.

Yes, Pitu that is a very bad move, and we shud let them know that we, alertpay users, would very much like to have exchanges continued and not stopped !!

So thru this forum, I'd let alertpay know that if AP CLOSES/STOPS exchanges, I would stop using Alertpay and I do use Alertpay heavily for business purposes!!
