Affiliate marketing is extremely lucrative business model !
There is no comparison with it and adsense! You can make a $1000 with affiliate marketing by the time you make 10 cents with adsense.
Adsense is for lazy people that do not know how to make money online.

If you can generate traffic then you will be successful with affiliate marketing !
I have been working in as a affiliate marketer for 5 years then I went to becoming a product owner and now I have affiliates selling for me.

Some of my top affiliates make over $2,000 a day and that is just selling one of my products, I am sure they are selling more then just my product.

That should give you a good idea about whether it is profitable or not.

My advise is to you is find the traffic first then fit a offer to the traffic and you will be successful!
    Best of luck

    Hi

    No it´s of no worth!
Only if you think pocket money is good enough for hours of work.

Remember only 2 % of all on the net are earning money on internet.
Of them is 1,99 % well established big companies with SEO expertice, big market budgets, great content, a lot of traffic (tousands daily) and great products. For example CocaCola, GM, Mercedes, BMW, SONY, Gucci are earning.

For the rest there is pocket money!

    Regards!
    Peder

Definitely worth trying, make sure your ads ect. are relevant to the content on your website/traffic you are receiving. A lot quicker to get started if you already have a website with plenty of quality content.

I completely agree with you about AdSense but I think you are missing something about affiliate. Perhaps, affiliate is one of the best thing you should try if you are willing to start good earning just within months.

But as usual, you have to know the basic A B C D of affiliate marketing and you should try best strategies to earn from it. You can earn about a minimum of $300 to $500 per month if you know right strategies.

    But before starting,
Things to know before joining Affiliate Program
    1. You should learn, which types of affiliate program should you choose.
    2. Is there any loop fall behind the luring high affiliate commission offer you are accepting?
    3. Are your affiliate merchant hijacking your commissions?
    4. How to promote affiliate products?
    5. Which type of affiliate products are in real demand?
    6. What type of help/ Customer service your buyers can expect from the affiliate companies?
    7. How genuine is the product?
    8. What are the reversal ratio of the affiliate product you are targeting to promote
    9. How to win confidence of your potential buyers?
    10. What is the conversion rate and which type of conversion rate yields you more money. Remember that high conversion rate does not always mean high earning. There are certain simple calculations behind that.
So, there are some more basic things that you should learn before embarking upon any affiliate program and believe me, you will definitely start earning money within months as many others do.
