Like with all forms of advertising.. it depends on what you are promoting, how you are promoting it and when you are promoting it. So, yes.. it's definitely "worth it" if you know what you are doing.
Yes definitely worth it ,BUT and it is a big BUT, start small as it is very easy to blow an awful lot of cash with absolutely minimal results. You need to dip a toe in the water check out the results and then test again until you get the right mix of investment versus return. Hope this helps
Did you use any guides to work through that you found beneficial ?? I've founda few, but find conflicting opinnions, which then prevent me from dabbling. be great to hear from someone with some experience.
It depends.First,it's definitely an effective way of advertising. But it doesn't mean that every user will benefit from it.You should pay attention to the most critical factors you should notice.Make a suitable budget also plays a part. In a word,if you can make full use of it,you will absolutely benefit from it.That's why it can survive and develop well.
Adwords is VERY powerful. You can target the ENTIRE world, or your neighbourhood. With those tools at the touch of a button - it is very powerful indeed. Make sure you have a mix of both banner ads and text ads in your campaigns.
I've just restarted my adword campaign. Had it running for an ebay store but have recently opened a standalone site. Thing is, my products are not worth much (£4.99 - £29.99) so I've got to work out the best budget
Google adwords is proven to be effective. But its effectivity is not only dependent on the system Google has installed. What Google provides are tools and you certainly have to work those tools to your advantage in order for you to realize its true worth.
Of course Adwords is good for most users - that is why Google has become one of the biggest companies in the world. It's worth putting in a decent amount of research to get it working properly though. Things like how to write good ads, landing page design, what to bid (CPC or CPM or CPA), how to generate keywords, etc. There's a lot to understand. Having said that, it's not difficult, and Google's statistics are excellent. One final thing - nearly always it is important to track 'conversions', i.e. something good you like happening (sales, signups, competition entries, whatever). Running Adwords with only a rough idea of its effectiveness is very risky.
Google conversion tracking is real tricky, because most people don't buy on the first vist to your site. EXAMPLE: google shows 4 coversions for my campaigns for the last 7 days at a cost of $70.00 per coversion but the real number is 12 conversions at $23.00 per coversion because people bookmark my site and come back to buy.
People don't need to buy the first time they come to your site from Google in order for Google to track it. I think that Google will track the conversion as resulting from the ad if a conversion is made within 7 days of clicking the ad (though I'm not 100% on the exact length of time, can't remember).
Do your homework, pick the right keywords... yes, adwords is definitely effective. Just don’t go overboard at the start.
