Is Adwords phone support beind done away with

Has google adwords telephone support been done away with? I tried calling today about a billing question. After listening to several recordings, typing in my ID number, I got a message saying something about using the support center or sending an email for support. I thought I may of hit the wrong button, dialed again, same results.

Does anyone get adword telephone support these days or is it being reserved for the big dogs?

I haven't heard anything about phone support being phased out. Maybe there was a problem with the system? I don't see Google phasing out phone support in favor of email or online support but you never know.

 

I would love someone try calling them and see if they get the same results.

Yea, I was shocked. Actually I tried again after i posted this. You get through to their service center, listen to several recordings, type in your ID and then after typing in your ID another recording comes on telling you to use the help center or send an email. It makes me wonder if they are not filtering the calls by ID...big budget get live person, small budget get message to use help center.

When you first call, you do get the impression you are going to talk to a live person, but it never happens. At least not for me.

 

I have yet to see phone support on adwords although yahoo search marketing has excellent phone support.

 

bells401, I use to get phone support for adwords although it has been some time since I last called them. Maybe the last time I called was a month ago, and many times before that, and I always was able to talk to a live person until today. Yikes...is adwords phone support going away! I hope not. I hope today was a fluke of some sort. Anyone else?

 

Yes, I had this problem about a month ago - it seems they are want all there support online this we other members of adsense & adwords and help you with whatever it is that your seeking and the real support "google members" will kind of just watch over things and help as needed I guess from what I can see - but for a billing question I would think thats kinda of private...
