Is adwords connected with adsense?

Will my activities on my adwords account effect my adsense account? For example if my adwords is suspended would my adsense also be suspended?

 

I think that both are not related but take a look in this letter sent to a banned guy:

They mention both: - AdSense and AdWords.

Do you have an AdSense account and are planning to mess multiple AdWords account using free vouchers?

 

One requires you to be spending money and the other makes you money. So no, they are not related as you would think.

 

If you are suspended in AdSense, your AdWords account won't be hurt for sure. It's about spending the money

 

I'm not sure about this as the letter that I post above suggests something different.

 

I would think that you need to really be in serious violation to get both adwords and adsense account terminated. Probably fraud or something might do that.
