    Hi from South Africa,
I rely on the Google Adword Keyword Tool to find my keywords. I found one that that little bar beside it that was all white which I think means there is not much competition. It had 210,000 searches. I used the keyword but still get no traffic from that keyword phrase. Anybody know why?
    Thanks

You have to make sure you've got it on Exact, not Broad

There could be multiple scenarios, one you're a genius and you found a great niche no one else is targeting. Or two, you're still a genius but that niche you found wasn't undiscovered, it was just not profitable, hence, no competition.

Sometimes bidding on competitive keywords will lead to higher success rate. If a certain keyword is highly competitive and a little pricier, don't aim for a number 1 ad ranking. Adjust your maximum bid so that you fall somewhere between #2-#4. That way you're competition can pay the top dollar, but you'll likely get a similar CTR. Just make sure you write a better ad then your competition, or come up with a better offer to attract more clicks away from the top spot.

    Hi,

Ya, Adword Keyword tool should be accurate. You can also try Google Search Based Keywords tool or Google Trend.

when i look my keyword on adwords tool, it shows 0.50$ but all I get is 2-3 cent per click with adsense. I wonder how advertisers manage to do this? They are just spending a few cents instead of 050$. If adwords tool always accurate, nearly impossible.
