Is advertising on DigitalPoint effective and cheap?

    I have just discovered advertising on digitalpoint and it seems to offer good inventor...but is it cost effective or too expensive? Any experience from members here who tried advertising and got good results?

    y, I think the site is suitable for people selling or wanting to improve relations. its cost is relatively cheap and effective.

    I used it a few days ago ironically to help my webhost hahaha. But I would say if you word your ads correctly (as an advertiser) it works quite well (good click through rate). Havent used the publisher function so I am unable to comment on that.

    That is probably the best advice with *any* advertising. If you are unable (or unwilling) to make a good ad, you aren't going to attract people to click your ad.

    Image ads tend to get a higher CTR than text-based ones, but a well written/interesting text-based banner will do well also.

    @DigitalPoint I definitely agree, and I would also extend that to, try running several variations in the early stages, that way you can try different text/images etc and find which one works best. The more you tweak your ad the better.
