Is Adsense valid on sub-domains?

I just want to find out weather placing adsense ads on sub-domain is valid or not.

for example, can i place google ads on "http://forums.MyDomainname.com/" and "http://forums.MyDomainname.com/index.php?topic=145.0"

I have one more forum, whose url is
"http://www..MyDomainname.com/forums" which has google ads and i know it is valid.
