Is Adsense Too Random?

    I have heard that with Adsense googles links come up very randomly through searches and over all it can be a waste of money - can anyone comment on this?

    not sure i get you right but adsense links are javascript links and cannot come up in search results. if the advertiser advertises on adwords and pick both search and content network, then the result will appear on search results under sponsored results.
