Is Adsense really worth it?

Hi everyone

I have been looking at a possible sign up for adsense for my website but the the amount of knowledge and attention needed has put me off a little bit.

What is the right path to take may I ask?

From what I know you get little money from just one click and visitors of my site aren't forced to click the ad's correct?

I was thinking of doing a free hosting service with ad's but would I actually make anything?

So the question lays ahead....is it really worth the effort?

I'm not planing on making hundreds and thousands of pounds but just a little extra to tie me over and a little extra beer tokens

Some support and heads up would be appreciated

AdSense is great for some extra cash. Not many can make a living with AdSense.

AdSense on free hosting site ? Hosting websites usually don't run AdSense advertisements.

I say Start a blog, write useful articles for visitors, promote your blog and go for AdSense.

 

if u already have a website, throwing on the adsense to see how much money it makes won't hurt.

That's a good way to get started with monetization. I don't recommend Adsense being a long term strategy (but it might be a good fit for your site, who knows). Alternately I'd look at CPA networks and other banner networks that will help you monetize the site slightly better.

I just wondering, how people can make almost or more than $100 a day legally.
Seems that they put much effort for their website.
Im looking to built autoblog and put adsense in it.
