i agree on having it but the users very realy see it. How the hell they would know to opt out unless its in front of them i am just saying the policy page gets viewed not often.

I used one of the privacy policy generators here on DP and then copied that information to NotePad and edited the information so it correlates to my site. It's as clearly written and as easy to understand as possible.

Well, that wasn't so bad. :)

I use XSitePro for most sites and recently I have been in the habit of telling it to generate a generic privacy page.

I simply opened one site in XSitePro and added the stuff that Goolge wanted.
Then I opened the source code view for that page and pasted it into a notepad file which I saved. (Source view to preserve the formatting and hyperlinks)

Then I simply went down the list of my sites pasting the new text into the privacy page and clicking publish.

It does tick me off that Google demands that WE have to tell people that Google and their pals are spying on them.

You need a privacy policy on each site you have - but no one ever looks at it anyway :)

Google introduce the "privacy policy" for adsense because of their latest feature which will check on our pc's cookies and determine which ads are best to be shown. It's some kind of interest-based ads.

PRIVACY POLICY is not necessary until you catch BAN from Google
