Is AdSense PARTIALLY banning my site?

AdSense ads won't appear on my home page.

Before I get the usual responses let me say that it has been more than 48 hours, and yes, the AdSense bot has crawled my site many times. There's little content, but enough for ads. AdSense ads appear fine inside the site, even on pages with less content.

The problem is that AdSense ads won't appear on my home page unless it it mis-addressed.

NO ADS --- http://www.hotscrap.com/ (home url)
NO ADS --- index.php (the true home url)

(My website hosting is setup so that a '404 not found' page request will load the true home page, which is at index.php.)

NO ADS --- index.html (not real, but page loads)
NO ADS --- index.htm (not real, but page loads)

    Here's the puzzling part:

ADS WORK --- index.php4 (not real, but page loads)
ADS WORK --- index.ph (not real, but page loads)
ADS WORK --- main.htm (not real, but page loads)

I wondering if the old hotscrap.com owner violated AdSense TOS, and now I'm paying the price.

    Ideas or suggestions anyone?

    John

I do not think adsense partially ban sites. If you are banned then ads would not show unless you have excess ads on the page.

    You are safe. Don't worry

Your ads are appearing on all pages.

You have to give a few hours from time you do changes to the channel.

    Peace,

Thanks to all of you. Since first post, I tried through an open proxy, and sure enough, ad load when from somewhere else. Maybe my cable outfit does something weird?

I still can't get index.php to work here for me.

    I'll just wait.

Adsense ads won't load if you're using a proxy. It's done to prevent click-fraud and click-bombing.
