Is adsense ok with welcome page?

guys, i have a site with welcome page. the welcome page have a large image, visitor counter and some text that briefly describe my site (it may be limited to 3 or 4 words).also it have contact us & privacy policy links.

so all i want to know is this welcome page ok to put a adsense ad banner ?

 

Well your welcome page is your sales page to sell the site to visitor's to continue on to the inner pages it's ok to have adsense on it. but I would have about at least 250 word written out to describe the site with keywords in place so to get relevant ads. to have contact and privacy page links is a must for every page of your site.

 

yup,its ok,but try and have some content on it,ie a good description of your product or service

 

thanks jkadin. i used meta tags for keywords. but i didn't use privacy and contact link on every pages. thanks again !

 

Put more contents rather than few words. Google don't like page without content.

 

i think image is consider as a object of content !
