    ya, been using it for a long long time, it works, is safe and is OK per Google.

    Not sure if it's the adsense notifier for ff or??? I am speaking solely of the one for FireFox (as per being safe)

    but i usually don't use it.i prefer check it manually when needed.

    It's ok as long as you don't refresh the stats in less then 15min time windows.
