Try adsense and see how you go, but maybe have a go at Amazon affiliate ads too

    Two suggestions,
    1. if your sales is not that good, try adsense on every product page
    2. If your sales is good enough for you and you still want adsense, put adsense only on thank you page, where visitor arrives after purchase.

    Wish you all the best.

You should put some info in the "About Us" category. If you are not located in the U.S. you should warn your customers about custom charges and how will you deal with these charges if occur. That would increase customers' trust in your website and help to increase your traffic internationally. You could advertise your website on autoblogs, social networks, and write articles on ezinearticles about some of your products and have links to your website. Good luck.

Not A good idea , you may loose customers :
1- They click on adsense like and go to other websites .
( you may not got good money from andsense clicks )
2- They " hate " the presence of the ads !

I'm unsure about your shopping site. But for our collectible shopping site adsense is real bad at all.

It will not increase your traffic by a single visitor. Ever. How could it?
Are you confusing it with Adwords, Google program to advertise sites?
Adsense is a bad fit for ecommerce sites, you do not want to offer incentives for visitors to leave your site before you've made a sale. And although as one post said, you can filter out competitors, in reality that means constant vigilance to filter out nearly every relevant ad. Whcih defeats the whole purpose

Oh, and stop bumping your own thread - it's against dp rules

    Like most the members said.

If you are selling something on your site, why sending your visitors to your competitors ??

getting visitors is becoming harder day after day, so when you get a visitor to your website (by search engine or referal link) you must let this visitor to your website and convince him to buy, not sending him to your competitors for few cents.

Generally in the (school) of web-marketing webmasters shouldnt add ads to the e-commrce websites.

Finally, this your website and the last decision returns to you.

    regards.

It is a good idea to mix Adsense and affiliate. If you run a global shopping site then you are going to attract customers from across the globe. Not many merchants offer delivery to international destinations and so would you rather the visitor just leave your site or potentially click on an Adsense ad?! Many visitors are also window shoppers or they might not be too interested in your listed product. With this in mind, backing up the chance of earning some revenue from your visitors makes logical sense. If you know your SEO and can pick out targeted buyers then you should have the skills to convert the buyer with your product pitch. If they choose to click on a competitors ad over going through your product then you obviously aren't doing a very good job.:D

"Sure Your Website's Traffic is good u well make alot of money "

Lol, thats a stupid answer, its all depending on how you invest in your site to keep it fresh and clean then you make a change of making good money but you will need to invest a lot of time...
