Is adsense earning affected by recession?

I am seeing a huge drop in my adsense earnings since past few months.. I was just wondering is the current economic recession is the cause of it?

Has google deliberately reduced per click pay rate? Anyone else feeling this ?

i don't think so.. don't swet this recession..

because from the looks of it the recession is only based on wall street losses

The best advice for a recession is, refuse to participate :)

Over the last few years, my Adsense earning have dropped by more than half -- but that predates the recession. I'm more than making up for it by transitioning to other programs, however.

I had that feeling too in December, but the new year came with good-valued clicks, so maybe it was just a feeling.

There is a chance for that.
But I think, it will not affect the Adsense seriously.

I think that Adsense revenue has decreased for many publishers in the last few months.

My December sucked, but I find that around holidays, the clientele seem to find other things to do besides surf.

    Baa, humbug.
