No....It's just that things are getting harder. If it doesn't work, Adsense is not the ONLY option.

It took a slight dip - but, compared to everything else MONEY, it's doing quite well. ;)

I noted a stack of impressions with no clicks on one of my blogs this week, impressions were up at least 100%, unique visitors were unchanged, hardly any clicks weird... maybe someone liked it so much, they just visited all the posts about three times?? The impressions are still showing every day, but the unique visitors are still about the same - just wish they'd click a bit more...

Earnings have not dropped across the board. Any drops, though, may help the program in the long run...one thing this will do is weed out the plethora of "in it only for the money" publishers which will bring the publisher-advertiser balance back inline. When the balance turns such that the publishers are publishers creating real sites with real content and not just trying to game the system, advertisers will gain faith in the program.

Definately slow but still alive. Affiliate marketers aren't spending as much with adwords, economy is killing things.

OMG, you mean my nice Adsense check this month is fake?? Adsense is not dead, but certain advertisers are cutting back on budgets. If your site is in a niche that is recession-proof, you won't have problems.

no it's not. all we have to do as publishers is to work hard and aim more and more traffic to our site

It's not dead, but there's some kind of credit crunch and similar problems... so this is why companies dont pay that much for online ads and this is why your ad price dropped...

I think that it has gone down. And for me, it was pretty low to start. In January, I would average about 20-25 clicks for $5. So far this month, I'm getting almost double the CTR with about a 25% increase in traffic and only netting $5 off of nearly 40-45 clicks. So yeah, if you ask me, Adsense is being stingy

Surely the CPC rates are lower than before but one can expect that in these conditions right?
