i have finally update my site and wish to inform that have removed CJ for sometime and will test using different ad placement strategies. Previously i was using only 160X600 and 728X90 ads, now i have included ads of 120X240 , 250 X 250 and 728 X 90 , What I have done is placed the ads besides the pics, as i read in some articles. i will update with clicks stats soon. Please suggest if these placements are perfect? also will it be ok if I use Adsense only and not CJ in sections like Rajasthan Shopping Tour
"Commission Junction, a ValueClick company, is a global leader in the online advertising channels of affiliate marketing and managed search." as quoted on their site. CJ has almost all the big brands. One of the major difference in strategies is CJ pays commission based on leads and sales but Adsense pays you pay per click on your ads.
I like Adsense. I earn from adsense also. If you want to earn then more traffic require for your site. Try to develop your site in various search engine.
It depends on your strengths. CJ earns higher, but the earnings are less stable. AdSense is more stable but lower earnings.
i think adsense is best coz in cj u get paid if visitor buy advertiser product but in google u just need one click. If i am wrong plz correct me
i have read a lot of articles lately on advertising and figured out that its not only about earning revenues , its more about building relations with the advertisers. and what i figure out from adsense is. it lacks in there..
I will say adsense is best and in CJ if you want to make serious money than we have to use cpc programs to promote them .
i differ a little on this as its more about the niche. if u have a website for a specific thing, cj can earn u more as suggested by many vetrans of advertising...
on my rajasthan travel site, i have now added google ads besides the photos, i wish to add in cj affiliate ads too. plz suggest if my current ad placements are not too much crowding the site and is the new ads from cj can be added or not?
FYI, on your Rajasthan site, page http://www.rajasthantour4u.com/hotels.aspx, you spell "Luxory" incorrectly on the pull-down menu.
If you have good amount of targeted traffic you can use both cj and adsense. I think you can try to adsense
Depends on your niche and the advertiser you choose. Sometimes CJ better sometimes not. Generally I find adsense to be the worst performer in most niches.
