Lil tip for you: Remember, if you want visitors to even consider clicking your ads you'll need to make sure you don't give them absolutely everything to where they are so satisfied they just either close the browser or hit the Back button. :)

I have had a very succesful site running a long time ago, but i closed it down now
I was getting 5000 unique visitors a day
And about 100 clicks a day
I would get anything from $5-15 a day

I'm not an expert with AdSense but I do have it on most of my sites. What I have found is that works for me is to have the ads blend in with the content. I make sure that I use keyword phrases in the meta title, first header and a couple of times in the content.

Some of my sites get as little as 25 visitors a day and still earn AdSense because the niche and keyword phrases draw in targeted traffic.

Learn how to read before posting such stupid shit, moron.

Icebandit, it's according to what the ads look like, and what they are about, but on average, one half to, maybe, one percent of a site's visitors click on ads. So, in the two months you say your ads have been up, and 300 visitors a month, that's 600 visitors. Obviously. But, are they all unique visitors???

Let's say that roughly half of them are.

One half of a percent of, say, 300 is 15. Roughly around that many click on ads. Figure 15 to 30, during the time it has been up.

Also, if you have a high bounce rate, that too will hurt you.

How many are going into your blog, only to turn around and leave again???

I can't tell you anymore without first seeing your blog. Your ads could be crap, or the placement of them could be wrong.

It's according to what the ads look like, and what they are about, but on average the main reason is because so few click on ads, period.

The blog is about poker, you're lucky to not face a ban from placing ads on gambling themed content. Do they serve relevant ads? Would have thought you'd be gettin PSAs.

It's people like you should not use adsense without reading the TOS when you get banned and you will even by posting you had a friend click. Are you insane even by posting this did you ever think that someone from google visit these forums and if they did and see this post where will your account be.

You're going to have to have more traffic than that to tell. Also you want to experiment with ad placement.

300/month is very low amount of traffic. I wouldn't expect any clicks unless the ads are really all over the place.

    300 viz / month that's no traffic

Get 1-2k/day and then start crying why not you are getting reach ..

The first thing you have to do is to get traffic...!!! Than to using adsense,
300 visitors a Month is like you dont have a website,

Okay, I think he got it by now, he doesn't have enough traffic. He doesn't need to be told this, time after time.

So many paranoid users here come on give me a break, the guy just did a test to see if the code was working...is not that google is gonna go out of business for this.

I suggest you to buy some good cheap CPM traffic and re-direct to your site. Then you do your math.
