Hello! Iam wondering if adlogger is ok with Adsense TOS. Also, do i really need to use this software ? Isn't it google responsibility to distinguish fraud clicks ? Thanks for help in advance!
This is the "translated" (sorry automatic translation) reply from AdSense Support team when I asked about a simmilar tracker system two years ago: "Nevertheless, we did not support nor we promote the use of tools of third for this aim, so and as it comments to us in its last message. If software uses of third, we recommended to him that it pays special attention to make sure not infringing the Terms and conditions of AdSense and not revealing by error delicate personal information or information related to its site by means of the use of this type of software. Please, it considers that the participants of AdSense are the only people in charge to verify that any tool or software who use jointly with AdSense she does not infringe the Terms and conditions of this program." Maybe you should ask AdSense about AdLogger to be sure.
Adlogger does not violate the TOS.. i've been using it for almost a year.. Is it necessary? NO... but, YOU are responsible for preventing click-fraud on your site, NOT Google, so using Adlogger is a smart thing to do.. just remember that it isn't perfect and it will 'overcount' clicks..
Thanks a lot for useful answers! How many clicks should i set adlogger to? ( my ctr is 1 % on 1st website and 13% on the 2nd one) r u sure that it is my responsibility ?! Not Google? They have click-fraud department . But I don't . I added Green rep to all useful answers Thanks again!
Yup, it's up to us: Since Program Policies deals with the invalid clicks area, this implies that the responsibility is on the publisher.
Thanks for ur post Adpubster , Is there a software that prevents invalid clicks recommended by Adsense team ? Iam not sure about "Adlogger" because it is not a 100% perfect software..
Was I use adlogger and then I uninstalled it,due G adsense team answer my question, here their answer on my email. So I think they never recommended any tools software or scripts to use with AdSense.
That way AdSense Ads are not displayed anymore (on your PC, of course) ? If yes, I don't like it because you don't see the "real" appearance of your pages .
no, it just redirect the ads link to your pc own. videlicet, when you click the ads link, it will not go to the distination but redirect the url request to your own.
I received one email from them probably 6+ months ago, where the person who replied back said I SHOULD install adlogger People at G obviously do not have their stories straight. I got 2 contradicting emails. But just for clarification, adlogger is NOT against TOS, and that is all they are saying - make sure it's not
