Maybe yes, Maybe no. It's "related" which is the exact word used in the Policies when describing what you can't put Adsense on. But, do you know who DOES know the answer to this question? Google Adsense Team. Fire off a question to them and let us know what they say.

I believe it should be ok because you are not offering a website where people can play poker. You just want to create informative contents to show people how they can play better. There are millions of article around the web where they talk about poker and gambling and they have adsense code in their site.

    Check this site: https://www.amazines.com/poker_advice_related.html

so...i can have adsense on a site that tells you how to grow marijuana, as long as i'm not selling it?

there are a million warez and porn sites that have adsense on the site.doesn't mean it's ok. ;)

what part of it don't you understand?

you can email them, but they'll just tell you to read the program policies.

If this helps, a quick search on google shows no poker related advertisers anyhow:

    http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=poker&btnG=Google+Search&aq=f&oq=

    however, adsense sandbox shows this:

    http://www.labnol.org/google-adsense-sandbox/

So there may be some hope, and I don't see why any page that isn't porn or illegal stuff or warez would ever be off limits anyway???

Unless, is there something Google doesn't like about poker?

edit: type poker in adsense sandbox, url is not encoded with the terms :x
