Is Adbrite Scamming us?

I keep seeing ads showing up on my sites that I didn't approve in fact they don't show up in my unapproved either.

My co worker told me how he signed up for this online game that was advertised on my site, yet I show zero clicks for the whole weekend and the online game ad he signed up to is not in my ads. yet I do see the ad and others I never approved showing in my adbrite ads???

Ive pulled them for the time being, but I need an alternate, I am looking for something I can run on a torrent search engine without worrying about losing my commissions. Anybody have an ad program I can run here mafiatorrents.org

i am using adbrite for years now and i have to say they are very respected company, no complains about them, money on time, ads runing greats, advertisers .. etc. everything is great with adbrite.

the only thing sucks with them is the payment, 60 days and only check !!

The AdBrite dashboard does not report in "real time" so you have to wait a while for ads to show up there. The Earnings tab is the most reliable measure.

Is it possible AdBrite disqualified your co-workers click because it was from a similar IP address (your work)?

I'm not a big fan of AdBrite. Adsense has performed much better for me. But I have received on-time payments from AdBrite.

Im not saying they dont pay on time, what I am saying is that they show ads I havent approved, and I don't believe I am being credited for them, before you ask I did check my add code to ensure it hasnt been tamperd with

Heres a pic of my approved banners and then just two of the ones I am seeing on the site, including the one my co worker signed up to.

I have not come across this problem. What I do is look at the ad in the targeting window and refresh the window a few times to make sure it displays the same ad. If it varies at all I reject the ad.

What I have noticed with Adbrite is that I think they are filling more than what their stats say they are. My stats show only about a 10% fill rate, but I know I see many more fills than that when browsing around my own site.

I have used Adbrite.com for 2-3 years now. Never had any problems really, once had some xxx ads shown but I contacted them and it was all taken care of. I don't think they give out spyware or adware like the person said above since i've never ONCE had someone report that to me.

adbrite pays you cpm not cpc for ad banners. Only the inline ads are cpc.

That's no longer true. If you look at your Ads Statistics, you'll see "CPC Banners" as well. Those are paid per click.

Do you have any ads approved that are marked as "3rd party"? These usually have multiple banners and you do not want to approve them if you want to have full control over what shows up on your ad space.

I also used Adbrite for a while on my site, but if you compare them with Adsense it's just pathetic. I really got TONS of pageviews, but most of the time only 2 or 3 clicks. And you have to wait ages for the check to arrive.
