Is AdBrite Scamming me? what you think?

I reached to my payment threshold in October 2007 . So my check should have been issued in 1st week of January. But it is April and check still not issued.
When i contacted them .. they sent me this reply:

So do Adbrite receive money from advertisers later coz they said they diden received money from advertisers till now. It has been over 5 months and how it is possible they diden received money from advertisers?

 

It's a pretty weird policy. But I guess it's business.

 

yea, they sure to pay, I got pay 2 years.

I have some xxxx$ to be paid from them, and still waiting for the payout but iam sure they will do it someday, so there is no need to worry about the same. Their policies are bit confusing so we need to just wait for the payment.

 

Seems a bit odd. I would be collecting the money from the advertisers in advance.

 

Yea, exactly. Seems all a bit phishy. You've been putting their ads on your website so surely they should be paid in advance? I would be afraid to overpay if people start bomb clicking my ads and i end up having to pay afterwards.

 

That is a very weird policy, however I always get my money I earn.

Sometimes it's late but I still get it.
