Hi, I've recently started playing around on Adbrite.com as an alternative PPC network for generating traffic. Does anybody have some thoughts and experiences that they can share regarding this advertising medium? Is it worth my while to focus more attention on AdBrite as opposed to Adwords? It does seem quite a bit cheaper.
adbrite will bring you cheap traffic but dont think the conversion rate would be strong enough as adwords
Not sure about Adbrite but i have tried Yahoo's YSM as an alternative for google adwords. I felt YSM's bidding rate is comparatively lesser than google and the interface is pretty good to manage multiple ad campaigns same like adwords. now-a-days, adwords is too much crowded on every niche.
I'm using AdBrite as publisher on some of my websites. They pay much less compared to Adsense, so I assume they must be cheaper for advertisers.
adwords will have better conversion if the traffic is from search page, but conversions will be lower if its from their content network.. Havent advertised on adbrite but it might be good if you a looking for lower volume of traffic.. if requirements are huge then adwords is the only option... cheapest for you will be admaya.in you can geographically target at lowest rates
I've never been able to get Adbrite to 'work'. Have always burned through my budget very quickly with little or no conversions. Adwords on the otherhand has been very good to me (although more expensive). It think it comes down to the product though.
I had the same experince. As for being a publisher, I am leaving Adbrite now. My stats for 3 months: Ad zone views 10,097 Clicks 13 Ad revenue $0.92 I used all their ad types at the same time (banner ads + Full page ads + Inline ads) x 6 ad units on a page. My niche is recipes.
