Is adbright a good service to start with to make money?

With all the banning scares of adsense, I think ill start with a different ad service first. I did a search and cant find much info. What are the TOS of adbright? How well does it pay? Can I use adbright on a website I just started then keep adding content? Why do they want my SS number?
Do honest people get banned from other ad services as easily as they do from adsense?

I've yet to be paid by adbrite even though I've made around 2K with them since July and i have my payment threshold at $500. Sent in a question asking about this and haven't heard back.

Definately email and call adbright, they owe you 2 grand! Maybe you gave them the wrong mailing address?

I registered with adbright and will be using it. I read the TOS and there wasnt much mentioned. Besides common sense of not clicking your own ads and spamming, what else should I know? Have they banned anyone that wasnt trying to scam adbright? Are they alot less ban "happy" than adsense? If someone tries to get me banned from adbright, will they be aware of this and just not count those invalid clicks while adsense will ban you?

They did email me back finally, but they gave no indication of when they plan to pay out, so I have emailed them back again. All they did was give the standard spiel and timeline.

Adbrite was always about 90 days behind on payout when I used them. I would suggest applying to Yahoo Publisher Network.

yahoo ads? Ill do that soon. I heard yahoo is picky with who they choose to sell their ads to. I will want a nice website getting many hits a day before I apply for yahoo. In the meantime ill start with adbright. Any other good ad services I can use in conjuction with adbright?

As both an adbrite advertiser and publisher(on behalf of my clients), I definitely suggest Adbrite. It's got a great advertiser and publisher mix. Plus, it's advertiser base is growing real fast.
