I see it says the skyscraper ads should be above the 500 but does the whole banner have to be there or just partially i.e. http://www.skateboardstickers.co.uk
The whole intention of that requirement is that your ad is above the fold and has lots of clicks/conversions, ie. good performance. It's well known that ads at lower positions tend to perform worse. With that said you probably could put it slightly below and not have any problems providing it still performs well. Your best bet would be to make the change then ask your rep or support from valueclick if that positioning is ok. Otherwise if performance goes down they may start delivering less or lower paying ads to you, or just kick you from the network.
Thanks for the reply. That skyscraper add is earning more money than the other ads (even though there are less clicks). I'll ask valueclick to confirm whether it's ok - just seems they take a while to reply.
your going to get less for the square ads because the ad size has a lower ctr. the 728x90 pays more then the skyscraper. they may not have a problem with what you have,but yeah ask them. i use cpx interactive and they told me as long as the ad starts above the fold.
Thanks, I did write to them last night so I'll await their reply. As for the 728x90 Skyscraper, I already have the 468x60 showing in each of the product descriptions. Am I allowed to also include the 728x90 one? - I see that only one of each type of banner is allowed on the same page but unsure if these are 2 of the same type.
