Is a scantily clad women allowed?

I know Google has rules about keeping landing pages clean and porn free. I presume.

But what about if you had a picture of a scantily clad lady? Is this deemed ok for adwords or not?

    Thanks,

    Jon

Google AdSense Program Policies state: "Site may not include: Pornography, adult, or mature content"
So you would have to determine if your picture of a scantily clad lady would be considered as adult or mature content.

Not sure about using Adsense as a publisher but you can certainly advertise adult sites with Adwords.

Referring to the image on the index page only (didn't see any others), that's not at all what I'd classify as porn. But seriously, if you're worried that it will violated their terms, it's best to ask directly. If they do decide later that it violated their terms, saying "some guy in a forum said it was ok" probably won't be enough to bail you out. ;)

I only looked at the index page.

The picture by itself would not be considered adult content in my mind. You can see that just about anywhere.

The content of the page might be a different story.

I think asking Google is your best bet.

I believe that pic is OK. Asking google is not always the best way out since they are loathe to make calls on things like this, depending on who answers the email (if anyone, indeed, does).

No, go with that pic, the worst that could happen would be a warning letter and IMO the pic does not break TOS.

I don't think that would be considered 'adult content', but what happened to that woman? She get run over by a truck?

My apologies in advance if that is your wife!

It's really not up to us to decide, and whether I consider that "adult content" or not is not relevant. I'd be cautious, becuase IMO, Google just might consider that "adult content". You might also want to read how mango sauce got the boot for less racy stuff than that.
