Newbie question: Is a hyperlink to a website conted the same as a non hyperlink?

    such as Affiliates

(Digital point makes everything hyperlinked but below would be a non hyperlink)
    or regular words http://www.topdollarkeyword.com/affiliate.htm

My main problem is that I have alot of links on one of my main pages, and I do not want to hyperlink all of them because it might effect the page rankings.

If there not linkes, then there not hyperlinks, just text that makes up a URL. Just the text of a URL won't give that URL a back-link, and I don't think Google will find the site from the text of the URL. No, there not the same.

You can have a look on SEW, this has been discussed at the latest conference.

The guy from Google said they could potentially use non hyperlinked links, but recommended to use hyperlinked one's.
