Is a Google Algorithm Update Brewing?

I'm sure some of you have been reading these threads:

I'd like to know how the new results are for everyone over here at DP. What do you think of the new results -v- the old results and are you seeing variations in the new results?

I am seeing definite improvements from the new results for pages with carefully selected topical and relevant reciprical links over pages with indiscriminate links.

What are you seeing?

 

I guess everybody is busy generating millions of pages in subdirectories now and don't have time to read other threads
My sites are waaaaaaaay down since a couple of weeks and they go up and they go down almost every day! Google is all f***d up and they can take their new algo and shove it somewhere where the sun never shines!!

 

I concur. The traffic coming from google is on one day and off the next

 

Google never confirmed a previous PR update so there has got to be one coming soon

 

Worse for me: when the situation stabilises, I go further down in the SERPs

 

I think this update is going to end up being fairly small. I know some are getting fewer pages indexed (I am), and I know PR is fluctuating. But not nearly as much as the last few updates. With apologies to anyone freaking out about it, I think this will go down as one of the more inconsequential updates (relatively speaking).

Not really.... one of my sites lost 70% of its indexed pages over 3 days.
