Is a good idee to use feed for a site as seo porpouse

Hello i'm planing to make a website based mostly on feed it's about music

And it will have feeds with news

Feed with videos

And the only thing that let's say is not on feeds will be the forum

What do you say this affects the rankings ?

Are the feeds going to be linking to the content on your site or other sites (or no on website content at all?)

And is the content yours or from elsewhere...

You site is likely to face the same problem that other sites with non-original content face... it is not easy to get traffic for content that is not unique.

However many people do make money with feed sites like automated blogs... just that an extra effort is needed for link building.

 

You can use the feeds to help bring you some traffic and maybe some backlinks, but I would not count them as a great SEO resource...

Well the idea is like this

A site about rap music

With a section with news (i will use feeds for this )
A section of videos (feeds from youtube as exemple)
A artist biography database (content made by my writer)
An hip hop lyrycs database
And a forum

so using feeds will help me make a bether site and as for seo it is good or not ?

NO! Not good for SEO and not good for content. If you are serious about having a good site, put some time and effort into it.
I have a Night Life Entertainment and Music site that I just started and it's not that hard to get contributers, however, Hip Hop, is on a serious sales slump, and the demographic a is getting less and less profitable.
What is your purpose? Just to have a hip hop site? Adsense? affiliate Program?

What you want to accomplish has a lot to do with the method.
If just adsense, then you run the risk of not being allowed to be a publisher, based on the new regs starting June 1st....If affiliate, you won't make many sales with automated content, that is a large field with a lot of competitors, you are coming in on the back end of a 10 year up swing, that is now on the down swing.
You will be competing with a lot of established sites, that have built credibility, at a time when sales are slumping.
In other words, you missed the boom.
It may be a lesson in futility.
