Is a General Resource Page Better than a Categoried Resource Page

Hello,

I'm new at reciprocal linking. Just wondering.

I have two resource link options that I am considering for my site.

I've already had a couple of people add their reciprocal link to a general link directory: http://www.pepper-spray-protection.com/linkman/links.php

I am also, playing with a categoried php link directory from Chipmunk scripts.

Which is the better option? Or does it even matter?

Since most people prefer their link on a page that does not exceed about 30 links per page, the directory style seems look more natural at least.

 

This one is better for reciprocal linking: http://www.pepper-spray-protection.com/linkman/links.php because you are linking to the true url. Sort the links into 2 more categories, create 2 more pages for them, and your done

http://www.pepper-spray-protection.com/resources looks nice, but your script uses redirects which doesnt help your reciprocal link partner at all
Also, you should try to exchange links with site within your industry/niche.

Your directory won't get very many submissions if you use a redirect script. (out.php).
